In addition to the retail centre as a focus of daily services for workers, a number of local service nodes will be provided within a short distance from workplaces for workers to buy food and drinks, socialise, and access childcare.
These nodes will be integrated into buildings and will be co-located
with either a parks or plazas to extend the social opportunities and
amenity of these places. Nodes will address the public street or park/
plaza directly rather than being internalised in a particular site.
